Join Story Salon on Election Day for a two-hour COMICS WORKSHOP!

In this class, we will...

  • warm-up with an illustration exercise

  • look at real zines — artist books, comics, and non-fiction mini-books made by kids and grown-ups

  • brainstorm ideas for an original story; and

  • use real artist tools to craft a short comic in the zine format, with publication in mind.

This class meets on Tuesday, November 5th from 10 AM - 12 noon at HudCo (145 Palisade St. Suite 200, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522).

Open to children in Grades 2-5.

Tuition assistance and scholarships are available through our partnerships with Spring Community Partners and the Ardsley Panthers Family Fund. Story Salon is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable community and is actively seeking additional partnerships with organizations supporting under-resourced students and their families.
