On newsstands tomorrow!

Good news alert: tomorrow is a Little Dispatch day! Inside this kids-only section of the Rivertowns Dispatch you’ll find a feature story on the Rivertown Skate Society, a group of local advocates who are trying to get a skatepark built in Hastings-on-Hudson. This was our big collaborative project of the semester and all of the young reporters enrolled in the Newspaper Club had their hand in research, interviewing, writing, illustration, and editing. A special thank you to Debra Dean and Anthony Fischetti of the Rivertown Skate Society who kindly visited our classroom last month to field every question, big and small.

You'll also find two delicious stories for young foodies — a glowing restaurant review of Sakura Garden and a post-Halloween poll on local kids' favorite candy. 

We are incredibly proud of the young reporters, artists, and contributors who worked hard to bring you this month's kids section of the Rivertowns Dispatch!
